Discovering around Aldea

A neighbourhood to live in.

Aldea is located in Milan’s burgeoning uptown district, the part of the city where the traditional and the contemporary meet. A neighbourhood with a unique, inimitable history and blend of styles. Here you will find award-winning restaurants and street food delis, co-working spaces like Otto and exclusive patios like the rooftop of Ceresio 7 and vintage clothing stores.
Never too noisy, always a pleasant place to be, the Aldea neighbourhood stands out from the nearby City Life and Gae Aulenti districts for its unique urban spirit, where the roots of the city of Milan are never blurred by an excessive thirst for novelty.

Ceresio 7

One of Milan’s most unique and trendy bars and restaurants, a place for appreciating unique panoramic views over the city. Admire the city's unique skyline from Ceresio 7's rooftop patio. When summer comes, enjoy an exclusive rooftop pool offering a truly unique experience of Milan. Ceresio 7 also has a gym and a spa in minimalist contemporary style.

Bon Wei

In what many say is Milan’s best Chinese restaurant, geolocalisation is the order of the day: the menu features a variety of cuisines from different gastronomic regions of China. All made from organic ingredients and served on beautifully laid tables.

Cantine Isola

Cantine Isola is a local institution when it comes to wine. The innkeeper is a classic: he inherited the business from his family, and he can help you choose the best wine for any occasion. Don’t miss the innkeeper’s Tuesday poetry readings, in which guests have to guess who wrote the poem! The prize? A glass of wine, of course!

Iyo

Iyo is the place for refined palates; Italy’s very first award-winning sushi restaurant. The look of the restaurant’s interior brings to mind the bare brick walls of London’s Soho district. The seafood is delicious; you must try the oysters!

La cantina del Giannone

Enjoy a new deconstructed version of traditional Milanese cuisine in a spontaneous, timeless atmosphere. A modern osteria between the Arena and Via Paolo Sarpi, where wholesome traditional food meets innovation. A unique place for a modern version of the classic Sunday lunch!

Nientedimeno / Beretti Antiquaria

A historic Milanese dealer in collectibles which has been in business since the early 1950s. An old-style family-run business. From vintage sofas and appliances to cult items of pop culture, such as pinball machines and advertising signs. The shops windows will grab your attention, and inside you’ll find the perfect accessory to add an original touch to your home.

Orient Express Vintage

A new vintage shop opened in Milan early in 2019. This outpost of the old school in northern Milan was opened by three young entrepreneurs: Camilla Finocchiaro Aprile and brothers Marco and Riccardo Augeri. But they sell more than just clothes. In a 1970s atmosphere, you can buy records and sip cocktails at the bar or sitting comfortably at a table.

Johnny Fix

Having trouble with your smartphone? Take it to Johnny. He and his team of technicians can revive any kind of high-tech device for keeping you connected with the world. His speed and helpfulness make this high-tech “wizard” very important in the neighbourhood.

Civic Arena

You can see it rising majestically at the entrance to Parco Sempione from the end of Via Bramante or Via Canonica. It’s one of the city’s greatest monuments from the age of Napoleon, designed in the early 1800s. It’s now managed by FAI, Italy’s national heritage organisation, which often holds sporting and society events in the building.

Sala del Cane

A favourite hangout for your four-footed friends, where they are pampered with the latest fashions in grooming, customised accessories and culinary delicacies.
